CCTV appeal for theft from motor vehicles in Fairwater

Dear residents

Between 28th March and 30th March 2026 there has been an increase in vehicle crime in the Fairwater area, predominately around Wroughton Place, Llangattock Road, Llandetty Road, Bwlch Road, Wellwright Road and Everswell Road.

These have occurred in the early hours of the morning between 02:30-04:00am. We are looking for a male, wearing a baseball cap and riding a push bike.

We are appealing for any CCTV of suspect in the vicinity of the above areas on the above dates and times. If you have any relevant CCTV footage please email richard.davies8@south-wales.police.uk.

We are also asking for residents to be vigilant and ensure vehicles are locked, secure and that no valuables are left on display including loose change.
